The second quarter of 2021 showcased a range of performances among the top horror games on Android in Ghana. Here’s a detailed look at how the top five apps fared in terms of weekly downloads and active users, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Specimen Zero - Online horror by Café Studio Games saw a remarkable increase in weekly downloads, starting from just 1 download in mid-May and climbing to 457 by the end of June. This growth was mirrored in its active user base, which rose from 116 to 660 over the same period.

Granny by DVloper experienced a more fluctuating trend in weekly downloads, peaking at 106 downloads in late April but dropping to 33 by the end of June. Active users also saw a decline, from 460 in late April to 227 by the end of June.

Granny: Chapter Two, another title from DVloper, had relatively stable weekly downloads, ranging between 41 and 101. Its active user base showed a slight decrease from 315 in mid-April to 227 by the end of June.

Scary Teacher 3D by Z & K Games maintained a consistent download rate, averaging around 40 to 60 downloads per week. Active users remained steady as well, with a slight decrease from 572 in late May to 511 by the end of June.

Lastly, Ghost Rider 3D - Ghost Game from Lobster Game Studios had a modest performance with downloads ranging from 8 to 44 per week. The active user count showed a minor increase, from 56 at the start of the quarter to 74 by the end of June.
